Vanmahotsav Rally 2017

Van Mahotsav is an annual panIndian tree planting festival celebrated in India during the monsoons. The festival is celebrated by DLF World School every year by planning a rally in societies to create awareness about plants and trees. Delfites of DLF World School, Greater Noida were organised rally on the concept of "GO Green" on 12th July 2017, to spread the message in Shivalik Home Society ,Greater Noida about the festival of trees Van Mahotsav, Principal Mrs. Anupam Singh flagged off the rally. The students carried slogan to raises the awareness of trees among people and highlights the need for planting and tending of trees as one of the best ways to prevent global warming and reduce pollution. The Rally was a success and the children and the teachers encouraged the general public to understand their surroundings and become environment friendly.
