Circular for "Joy of Giving"

Dear Parents “Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something” DIWALI - India’s festival of lighted lamp, joy, prosperity, fortune, success, wealth and happiness is celebrated every year with great pomp and pleasure. Our emphasis at DLFWS is not only in academics and co-curricular activities but stress on imbibing the social values. “No other joy is more precious than the joy of giving” It’s time to celebrate the festival of giving. This is a festival of philanthropy that aims to inculcate the values of gratitude for what we have, share with those who do not have and also help the needy. We at DLFWS would be celebrating the ‘Joy of Giving’ Week in order to sensitize students towards the values of ‘Sharing and Caring’. Delfites would be celebrating the week from 11th October 2017 to 17th October 2017. Henceforth, we want you to involve and make it as a life-long experience by donating clothes, toys, books along with your child for this social cause. The donation will be to ‘GOONJ’ and an orphanage. This is your opportunity to connect with the happy feeling one gets after giving, to change lives.
